Camping Games: 5 Ways to Get the Family Moving at the Campground

If you love to camp and spend your time soaking up the sun, check out these amazing camping games! We’ll show you five of our go-to camping games to get your family moving and help you enjoy some quality time together. Learn these five great games to play at the campground below.

Frisbee

This is one of the easiest games to bring along with you to the campground. All you need is a frisbee or a few, and you can keep your crew entertained for hours. Some campgrounds even offer frisbee golf courses!

Cornhole

Another easy game to bring along to the campground, Cornhole requires two cornhole boards set 27′ apart. Divide into teams of two and set up so that one partner from each team is at either board. Take turns tossing the bean bags back and forth. Score 1 point for a bag on the board and 3 for a bag in the hole. Any of the opponent’s bags that land after yours cancel each other out. First to 21 points wins!

Horseshoes

You can usually find horseshoes set up already at many campgrounds. Both you and your kids will love taking turns tossing the horseshoes at the rods and trying to get all of yours around the pole before your opponent.

Water Balloons

If you’re camping during the summer months, finding a way to cool down is essential. Pack some water balloons and let the kids enjoy a water balloon fight around your campsite! Be sure to clean up the balloon scraps when you’re done to protect the local wildlife.

Camping Bingo

This game takes a little bit of planning, but you can easily make a bingo board for your camping vacation and let your kids spend the day looking for campground staples. Some ideas for things to add to your Bingo boards include tent, fishing pole, bike, squirrel, golf cart, flag, etc.
