About Arches National Park
Arches National Park was founded in 1929 and is located in the state of Utah just north of Moab. This 120 mi.² park is bordered by the Colorado River and features geological sandstone formations throughout the park. Popular locations include Delicate Arche and the Landscape Arch, in addition to Balanced Rock and the Devil’s Garden. Altogether, you can find over 2000 natural sandstone arches throughout the park.

If you’re visiting the park between April and October, you will need to reserve a timed entry ticket. You can do this by visiting recreation.gov and searching for Arches National Park. These times entry tickets give you a chance to visit the park and explore the beautiful structures with your family.
